RDBMS Using Oracle

Course Description:
The course focuses generally on the SQL and PLSQL programming languages, database application development and database administration. This course covers: (a) building fully functional menu modules, including application security, multiple-form and multiple-window applications; (b) writing reusable generic PL/SQL code and basic database administration; (c) applying the event-driven functionality by using form objects provided by triggers; (d) generating repots (e) making optimal use of Oracle Server functionality.

Objectives and Outcomes:

After completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Create a database and store, retrieve and manipulate data in it

  • Build forms and  apply the event-driven functionality by using form objects provided by triggers

  • Generate reports and summaries

  • Handle the functionalities of database servers
